Libya Slave Trade: Fani Kayode Blast Pres. Buhari For Keeping Silent

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has blasted President Muhammadu Buhari for not speaking out for Nigerians sold into slavery in Libya.

Kayode tweeted on Wednesday that the President is inactive because those Nigerians sold were natives of Igbo, Edo and Yoruba.

According to the two-time former minister, 75% of those sold into slavery have their “organs harvested, bodies mutilated and barbecued alive.

He lamented that Mr. Buhari has remained silent over the issue because most of the victims were not from the North.

In a tweet via his social media handle, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chieftain noted that Buhari’s silence was an indication that the current administration is evil.

He wrote:

“75% of those sold into slavery in Libya who have their organs harvested, bodies mutilated and who are roasted like suya are from southern Nigeria.

“They are mostly Igbo, Edo and Yoruba. U see why Buhari’s evil regime don’t care? They are not Fulani herdsmen”- Paul Achalla.”

In his earlier tweet, Kayode displayed a photo of the atrocities going in Libya saying:

Fani-Kayode also retweeted a statement which described the Arabs as racists who cast racial slurs at any person who doesn’t have the same skin colour, belief or looks different. It is also said that black people are harassed in the streets in Cairo.
