Jose Mourinho Set To Sign For Man U on Tuesday


Portuguese coach and former Chelsea FC manager, Jose Mourinho, is set to be appointed as substantive manager of Manchester United.

According to the Mourinho’s agent, Jorge Mendes, Mourinho will be flying in this week to finalise the deal.

Reports according to football editor of RMC Sport, Mohamed Bouhafsi, say that Jose Mourinho has already started contacting a number of players to sound them out over joining him at Old Trafford.

Manchester United, who just clinched their first FA Cup title in a few years have relieved coach Louis van Gaal and plans on replacing him with the “Special One”.

This would hardly be a surprise to most soccer pundits and fans, considering Mourinho has been speculated in the media to likely be offered the job for some time now.

Duncan Castles, media aide to Jorge Mendes, revealed that Jose Mourinho is set to meet Manchester United officials on Tuesday 24th May to discuss the terms of his impending contract. Jose Mourinho will become the new manager at Old Trafford, just five months after being given the boot by Chelsea.

The prospect means that next season the Premier League will see competition between Mourinho, Pep Guardiola, Arsene Wenger, Antonio Conte, Jurgen Klopp, Mauricio Pochettino and Claudio Ranieri all in the English League.
