For the first time after the news of her divorce rocked the media, Janet Jackson talks about her split from her billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana.
On 1st May, the 50-year old new mum took to her social media page to send a special message to her fans. In the video, Janet Jackson talked about her adorable son Eissa, who she described as ‘a happy baby’, and also about her famous divorce.
She also talked about her Unbreakable world tour, which was initially scheduled to hold in 2016, before she went on a family break to deliver and take care of her baby.
“This message was supposed to be about something else, but I’ll get to that in a minute. I just want to keep it real with you guys for a second. Yes, I separated from my husband. We are in court and the rest is in God’s hands.”
Although her marriage to Al Mana ended within 5-years, it made so much impact on the singer in terms of her dressing and outward appearances, considering she was a Muslim wife.
Meanwhile, some of her fans have been making a fuss over the Unbreakable world tour as they keep asking for their ticket refund since the show is yet to hold.
However, the singer has left many fans disappointed. She was even slammed a class action lawsuit by a fan who claimed the singer was holding back from issuing refunds on the grounds that the tour was “rescheduled” and not “canceled.”
Nonetheless, Janet is back, revealing the tour will still hold and she has renamed it to the State of the World.
