Pastor Adefarasin is Married to an Ex-Beauty Queen
Paul Adeolu Adefarasin is one of the leading church pastors across Nigeria who are married to some of the most beautiful women in the world. The House on the Rock founder got married to his wife, Ifeanyi Eleiyne Adefarasin, in June 1995 and they have been living together as a couple since then.
From her name, you could tell she belongs to the Igbo race spread across the Southeast and in some parts of the middle belt of Nigeria. She is the daughter of Mr Victor N. Mordi, a professor of medicine known to serve as Head of the Department at the prestigious Amadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria.
Ifeanyi Adeferasin is younger than her husband by 9 years. She was born on September 12, 1972, and she is currently 51 years old. Paul, on the other hand, was born on 25 January 1963, and he is currently 61 years old. She also has five siblings whose identities have been kept away from the media.
Pastor Ifeanyi attended the University of Lagos where she apparently gained her first degree. While we are yet to ascertain her full educational qualifications, it remains a fact that she once worked in a bank for a couple of years before leaving to focus on God’s call upon her life.
Paul, on the other hand, went to Haileybury College in England. He also studied at the University of Miami, graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture. He practiced in Florida before returning to Nigeria.
Pastor Paul was born into an affluent home and while growing up he battled with drug addiction until his repentance and conversion in 1994. Before officially beginning his ministry, Paul went to the International Bible Institute of London where he received a Diploma in Christian Ministry. Shortly afterwards, he volunteered as a Youth Pastor in the United States, and after that, he received his first pastorate at the Action Chapel in London.
Paul’s Wife Runs a Foundation for Women
Paul Adefarasin’s family members are known for their contribution to the growth and development of their society. The minister has written, authored, and self-published many motivational Christian mini-books and multimedia resources that have helped to shape the lives of people around the world, while his wife is popular for her contribution to women’s empowerment in Nigeria and across Africa.
The former banker and beauty queen founded the Women to Women Ministry following her commitment to social reformation, education, provision of healthcare and relief work amongst the underprivileged. Also a mentor and coach, Pastor Ifeanyi is known for her clear and practical message of hope and empowerment. She tailors her style of ministry to transcend gender barriers and bring healing to many.
Her husband is not left out in the business of giving back to their society. Following his conversion from drug addiction, he founded Rock Foundation; a charity-based organization that is committed to social reformation, education, provision of healthcare, and relief work for ex-convicts, drug addicts, and the downtrodden and disadvantaged in Nigeria and West Africa.
How Paul Adefarasin Met His Wife, Ifeanyi
The exact month and year the two met are not yet known but the House on the Rock founder said he first saw the “Asaba beauty queen” at the gallery of the church where he was to preach.
According to him, he was about to preach a message titled “God has changed the rules” when he saw her and he knew she was his wife because he immediately felt a deep peace in his heart the same time he heard within him that “this is the lady you have prayed for for three years”.
Prior to their meeting, the televangelist said he tried to build a relationship with different women in his youth but none of them worked. Upon getting confirmation from God, he never approached her for about three months because he knew how delicate the issue of marriage is. When he was set to marry her, many of his friends and associates disapproved of her basically because they had their preferred woman for him. He married her anyway and he has not regretted doing so.
While marking their 27th wedding anniversary in June 2022, Paul Adefarasin who is also the convener of The Experience (the biggest Gospel concert in Africa), took to his social media page to celebrate his ever-looking young spouse and appreciated her contribution to the growth of the Adefarasin family.
Paul Adefarasin’s family is Blessed With Three Children
Paul and Ifeanyi’s marriage of 28 years has seen them not only grow a large crowd of members who look up to them as their spiritual parents but they are also blessed with three children; two boys and a girl— Hilda Adebola, Alvin Adegboyega and Alexander Adekunle.
Adefarasin’s daughter, Adebola Hilda Adefarasin, marked her 25th birthday in May 2021 which means that she was born in 1996 which is a year after her parent’s wedding. Apparently, she is the oldest child of the Paul Adefarasin family.
Alvin Adegboyega is the first son of Pastor Paul and Ifeanyi Adefarasin. He is apparently younger than his sister by one year as he clocked 25 in July 2022. Alvin is a Civil engineer. He graduated with a first-class degree in 2018 and went on to attain a master’s degree in International Business in London. Not much is known about his personal life, but he lives much outside Nigeria.
Alexander Adekunle is the last child of the family. He is equally the second son of the Senior pastor and General overseer of House On The Rock Church. Unfortunately, further details about his life and career have not been revealed but it is believed that he lives abroad like his older siblings.
