1. Access Bank USSD Transfer Code

*901# is an Access Bank USSD code that permits you to use and conduct banking services handily from your phone, without using airtime or data. This service can be used 24/7. The *901# code is available to all individual account holders whose phone numbers are registered with any of the mobile network operators in Nigeria (MTN, Glo, Airtel, and 9mobile) and properly maintained with the bank.

How to Activate The *901# USSD Code

To be able to use this code you must first activate the code using the following guidelines:

1. 1. Dial *901# on the registered mobile phone number joined to your Access Bank account. 
   2. Choose “Transfer,” and press send. 
   3. You will instantly be prompted to enter the last “6” digits of your Access Bank debit card number. If you do not have a Debit card, you will be asked to enter your date of birth, and it should be the same as the one you use to open the account. 
   4. Next, enter your Access Bank account number. 
   5. Generate a “4” digit authentication PIN you will use to carry out your transactions. 
   6. Enter your PIN and complete the activation process. 
   7. Once you have completed the activation process, you will be prompted with a notification. 

How to Transfer Money Using Access Bank USSD Code

• To transfer money to other banks, dial *901*Amount*Account number# (for example; *901*2000*1004500038#) from your phone and touch the ‘Send’ button
• Next, you select the beneficiary’s bank name
• You will receive a message asking you to verify the beneficiary’s name and account number. This is to ensure that you are sending the money to the right person.
• Activate by making use of a four-digit security code.

Note: This service session lasts around 2 minutes and times out once every twenty seconds if there is no activity. This suggests that each transaction initiated should be finished within 2 minutes.

You can perform transactions of up to N100,000 per transaction but it is the maximum limit per day using the USSD code.
