Nigeria is considered as the giant of Africa. Whatever concerns Nigeria affects the continent also. This is the reason why the forthcoming elections is not only a concern to Nigeria and Nigerians, it is also a huge concern to Africa and by extension, the world at large.
We have heard comments, view and opinions of different renowned personalities in Africa and beyond about the forthcoming elections in Nigeria. Clerics have not let their voices go unheard.
A popular pastor in Ghana has recently lent his voice to the ongoing debate on who the next president of Nigeria will be. Without mincing words, Apostle Baffour Boahen Frederick, who is the Senior Pastor at Wonder City Chapel, Ghana has declared that President Goodluck Jonathan will not be sacked from Aso Rock come March 28.
This declaration from the pastor will obviously not go down well with so many in the country but that didn’t stop him from acknowledging the comment by uploading a picture of the copy of the Nigerian daily that published the story on his face book page.
“Nigerians should watch out for the second term of His Excellency President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. Although it looks very challenging with him and his ruling party now, yet the Lord says Nigerians shouldn’t lose hope in Jonathan.
As long as I’m concerned as a man gifted by God to see the past, the current and the future beyond the curtains of the natural, I know by the inspiration of the Almighty that President Jonathan is the set man for Nigeria. His next term on the seat will bring liberation to Nigeria. It will bring hope to hopeless situations in Nigeria.”
“On this account I therefore declare that he, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan will win the coming elections,” he concluded.
