It has been reported that the building housing the Federal Airport Authority (FAAN) in Lagos has gone up in flames .
According to the report by The Sun, the fire started very early on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, destroying property worth millions of naira.
It was also gathered that several trucks belonging to the fire service department are conducting rescue operations and are working frantically to put out the fire. As at the time of this writing, officials of the Federal Airport Authority said the cause of the fire could not be established.
The Nigerian Tribune also reports that early information revealed that the fire which started as early as 8.30 am, caused many of the workers who were in their offices to run for safety to avoid been burnt.
The FAAN management is yet to give an official statement.
