The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Solomon Dalung, has appointed the 2017 BBNaija winner, Efe Ejeba the “Youth Ambassador of Nigeria”.
The announcement was made on Tuesday, May 30, when Efe paid a courtesy visit to the Minister, in the company of his elder brother and producer, Ducktor Sett.
Announcing the development on his Facebook page, Solomon Dalung wrote:
“Based on logistics, I received Efe Ejeba, the Big Brother Naija Winner in the Ministry of Youth & Sports today. Efe being an influential young person full of passion and determination, we discussed among many areas of collaboration to engage young talents across the country. God bless #NigerianYouths.
“Who I be? the popular saying of the Big Brother Naija Winner, Efe Ejeba is today a voice that reminds every young person that no matter your humble beginning, your dreams are valid!
“On this note, Efe Ejeba the winner of Big Brother Naija is today pronounced & decorated; ‘NIGERIA YOUTH AMBASSADOR’.
“Congratulations and we wish him well. God bless #NigerianYouths.”
In another post, Dalung disclosed that Efe has been selected among the Nigerian youths who will participate in the Berlin Youth Entrepreneurship Summit in Germany. He wrote:
“Based on logistics, I have directed the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Youth and Sports to include the newly decorated ‘Youth Ambassador of Nigeria’ Efe Ejeba the winner of Big Brother Nigeria on the list of youths that will participate in the Berlin Youth Entrepreneurship summit taking place in Germany next month.”
Since his win, the 23-year-old rapper and Economics graduate of the University of Jos has been enjoying his celebrity status with some endorsements and appearances. He was appointed Ambassador for Entertainment by the Plateau State Government.
Recently also, Efe was welcomed officially to Delta, his home state by Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa, his Deputy Mr Kingsley Otuaro and members of the State Executive Council. He was also crowned the Prince of Okpe Kingdom in the state by the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, Chief Felix Mujakperuo.
Efe, who was based in Jos, the Plateau state capital before moving to Lagos to boost his musical career, has assured fans that the video of his recently released song titled; “Based on Logistics” would be out soon.

Just recently, YBNL rapper, Olamide had said he is ready to work with Efe anytime and condemned people for looking down on the BBN winner’s music because of the perception that he is not gifted with the art.
“A lot of people tend to look down on others who they think is not talented enough, you don’t judge a book by its cover in most cases.
“I see hunger, zeal, passionate person anytime I see Efe and someone who is going to be very diligent with his work…
“The guy may not be all that fantastic or spectacular but I can see it in him over time he is going to develop himself as he grows in the industry,” the ‘Shakiti bobo’ crooner said in a radio interview.
