DStv subscriptions are mainly on a monthly basis or annually. For the monthly subscription, DStv Yanga costs ₦3,500, while the amount for the yearly subscription is ₦38,500. Like other types of businesses, DStv gives a discount on the annual subscription once in a while. You pay for 11 months and get one month free. This is a way of pushing subscribers to embrace the offer and go for the annual subscription.
For your DStv subscriptions, there are novel means subscribers can pay for their monthly subscriptions. You can either visit a MultiChoice office, pay at the bank, pay through internet banking and mobile apps, pay through POS and other retail outlets, or renew your subscription with your mobile phone through the use of USSD codes.
Again, in making payments through the bank, you have two options to choose from. Firstly, you can pay instantly. In this form, you visit the bank monthly to make your payments. The second option is to initiate a debit order with your bank. The debit order allows your bank to renew your payments on the agreed date, either monthly or yearly, and collect the money from your bank account. With this type, once the agreed date reaches, the subscription will be renewed immediately.

Major Differences Between DStv Yanga and Padi Packages
DStv Yanga and DStv Padi packages are the cheapest DStv packages. They are cheap but contain a variety of channels. The major differences between the two packages are their prices and the number of channels. For the DStv packages, the lower the price, the lower the number of channels contained in their channel lists, while the higher the price, the higher the channels, and other features.
DStv Padi package has as low as 48+ channels, while the DStv Yanga package has 95+ channels. Their prices also differ: DStv Padi has a monthly subscription fee of ₦1,850 and an annual subscription fee of ₦20,350 while DStv Yanga has a monthly subscription fee of ₦3,500 and an annual subscription fee of ₦38,500.
Another difference is that DStv Yanga can access channel 198 – BBNaija while DStv Padi cannot access this channel. This entices DStv Padi subscribers to upgrade to the higher package to view the channel.
