American rapper, Drake releases short film titled “Please Forgive Me.”
The movie which majors on sex, guns, cash and blood was released by the musician on Monday.
Over the past few months, Drake has managed to stay on the top of the Billboard charts with a few hits courtesy of Rihanna and Wiz Kid.
The Canadian-American rap star also features in his own short film.
The movie, which is the latest component of Drake’s fourth studio album, Views, was debuted the rapper.
Please Forgive Me is a highly anticipated 23-minute-film.
The movie which was inspired by the album, features a bloodied Drake, Fanny Neguesha, Soni Chidiebere, Kyla Reid and Popcaan.
The stars get engulfed in a gritty world filled with sex, guns and money.
According to Billboard, the project was filmed in Johannesburg, South Africa in just one week in July.
While little can be seen in Apple Music’s swift teaser, the Apple Music exclusive video was scored by Noah 40 Shebib.
Please Forgive Me was directed by Anthony Mandler, a renowned music video director with prominent ties to Drake’s alleged girlfriend, Rihanna.

Mandler previously spearheaded many of Rihanna’s most famous music videos.
These include the ones for her early hits like “Unfaithful” and “Don’t Stop the Music” up to her most recent chart toppers, including “Diamonds.”
Mandler also directed the brand’s most recent commercials. Among them are Taylor Swift ‘s treadmill tumble and DJ Khaled and Naomi Campbell’s romantic drive.
In addition to Drake and Rihanna, Mandler’s resumé also features the likes of Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and Beyoncé’s “Irreplaceable” among many others.
Drake’s short film is available solely on Apple Music for streaming.
Presently, Drake’s latest album has become the first to reach over one billion streams on Apple Music.
