Drake Performs Medley of Hit Songs For Rihanna’s Birthday
Canadian-American rapper and rumoured Rihanna boyfriend, Drake performs medley of their hit songs in celebration of her birthday.
Drake performed the medley, giving a shout-out to Rihanna during a recent show on The Boy Meets World tour. The duo are expected to perform together at a concert in London on Feb. 24, 2016.
He did that to commemorate her 29th birthday which was on Monday February 20 2017, although she wasn’t present at the show.
The Toronto rapper — who has been a rumored lover of RiRi’s on several occasions — performed a medley of their collaborations during his show in Dublin in dedication of her birthday.
Drake hinted the crowd before diving into their joint hits “Take Care,” “Too Good” and “Work.” He told them how much he loved and respected Riri and they should join him sing for her.
“It’s somebody’s birthday today I have a lot of love for her and a lot of respect for her.
“Instead of singing ‘Happy Birthday’, we going to do it just like this. You better sing this shit for RiRi’s birthday.”
Rihanna, on her part, received a huge birthday gift in the form of her latest chart accolade from Drake.
Her 2016 Anti-single, “Love on the Brain,” jumped from 13 to 8, marking her 30th Top 10 record and sliding past Michael Jackson who notched 29 Top 10 records on the Billboard Hot 100.
RiRi is also reportedly an on-off girlfriend of Drake. After her much-publicized relationship and sour break up with Chris Brown, the “Work Work’ singer seems to be having a low-key loved life.
Drake, on the other hand, was in the news lately for hanging around American Veteran singer and dancer, Jennifer Lopez, who obviously likes younger men.
In January this year, he was reported to have spent a whopping $100,000 on a platinum and diamond Tiffany and Victoria necklace for J.Lo – a kind gesture that suggests that her love does not cost a thing.

Drake is currently embarking on a European tour. He recently made headlines by spending £500 at Nando’s and offering to help talk a man down from a bridge in Manchester.
Drake is currently working on a new project entitled More Life, which he describes as a “playlist collaboration with Apple Music” rather than a traditional album.
He told fans at his recent gig at Leeds First Direct Arena:
“I’m excited, ‘cos I’m about a week-and-a-half, two weeks away from finishing this project I’m working on called ‘More Life’.
“So you know what that means, right? All that means is I get to drop a new project, and at some point, I get to be back with my people in Leeds one more time.”
