2017 has truly been a crazy year for the 30 Billion World Tour pop-star Davido, from a switch in management earlier this year to the loss of his close friend Tagbo Umeike.
They say a man travels the world in search of what he needs, but eventually returns home to find it! That’s exactly the case right now with Davido, there is no doubt some serious thought process and energy has being directed towards his 30 Billion world tour finale.
What You Need To Know About This Event
The 30 Billion world tour finale would be Davido’s first headline event in the country in 5 years. The superstar has been so busy with international shows and concerts over the years that there has been hardly any time to execute such an event in Nigeria.
The 30 Billion World Tour which started on the 23rd of June has seen Davido all over the globe performing back to back –week after week; from Ukraine, Sweden, Denmark, France, to neighboring countries like Djibouti, Ivory Coast and more.
Finally, the tour finale is coming home to Lagos just 2 days after Christmas.

Davido In 2017
Musically, 2017 has really been a successful year for the singer, releasing back to back hits and featuring some big names in the music industry worldwide. So far this year, R-Kelly did an official remix to Davido’s ‘IF’, we’ve also seen the artist feature Rae Sremmurd, Young Thug, Jay Sean, Popcaan, Wale, Nasty C, Olamide and lots more.
With such connections, money in the bank and non-stop hits, it’s safe to say 2017 has been Davido’s year regardless of everything else that has happened. Now, as the 30 billion tour grand finale goes down in his hometown; Lagos, I guess we could say better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof.
