Chioma Nwaoha Biography: Inside the Life of the Nollywood Actress

Chioma Nwaoha (born on 2nd November 1995) is a 28-year-old fast-rising Nollywood actress, entrepreneur, and social media influencer who received notability after featuring in the movie King’s Wife.

Chioma has been moving from strength to strength in her career since she made her debut in the Nigerian movie industry. She is a good-looking light-skinned lady who is definitely making an impact in the Nigerian film industry with her talent and beauty. She has starred in numerous successful movies and alongside Nollywood top stars.

Chioma Nwaoha is an Imo State Native

Fondly called Spanky Diva, Chioma was born on the 2nd day of November 1995 into a middle-class family in Imo State. She is currently 28 years old. She originally hails from her birthplace, Isiala Mbano LGA of Imo State, Southeast Nigeria.

Chioma was born into a born-again Christian home comprising six children. Her immediate elder siblings are twins: a boy and a girl and she is the 5th child in the family.

Coming from a staunch Catholic family, Chioma’s mother is the president of the Catholic Women Organization (CWO) in her parish. Nothing is known about her father as the actress has never made mention of him in the public. Meanwhile, Chioma spent all her early years in Imo State alongside her parents and siblings.

Growing up in a Christian home, one can easily deduce the kind of childhood the beautiful actress experienced. Mr. and Mrs. Nwaoha brought their children up in a strong Christain faith. Further, Chioma received her primary education in one of the schools in her hometown and proceeded to Madonna Model School in Owerri, where she finished and obtained her Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE).

She then moved on to the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where she bagged a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication.

Chioma Nwaoha Gained Prominence as an Actress with Her Role in King’s Wife

Before she even gained admission into the university, Chioma was already acting. Actually, she developed a passion for acting when was still very young and so started participating in her local school drama and stage plays. She also joined the drama group in her church and took part in some of the events that featured drama. She credits the source of her acting inspiration to ace Nollywood actresses Mercy Johnson, Genevieve Nnaji, Regina Daniels, and a few others.

As time went on, she began going for movie auditions and also got a couple of minor roles. Regardless, no one knew who she was until 2017 when she landed a lead role in the movie, Kings Wife. Termed as her debut movie, Kings Wife did nothing but shot her directly into the limelight. The film, in which Chioma played a very brilliant role, was described as a hit by many. Since her big break, Chioma Nwaoha has featured in more than 50 movies and counting.

She is best known for playing the role of a wicked madam, a rich man’s daughter, village girl, princess, slay queen, and many more. She also debunked the common notion that actresses are wayward and cannot make good wives. She strongly believes that love is the best factor to consider before marriage and not money or sex. In her opinion, everyone has their individual character and way of living and so will maintain the same whether in marriage or not.
