It is shocking to know that Chidinma Ekile, 2010 MTN Project Fame winner, has just parted ways with her record Label, Capital Hill Records. The label is run by ace Cinematographer, Clarence Peters, and rapper, Illbliss .While the likes of Burna Boy knows the essence of good music partnership, and has reunited with his producer, LeriQ, Chidinma prefers to be free from the label that made good music for her as well as gave her fame.

Chidinma has been with Capital Hill Records since her rise to fame after winning the talent hunt. Her debut album ‘Chidinma’ was released in 2012 under the label and when her contract with Capital Hill Records expired at the end of February 2016, the petite singer chose to walk away, thereby refusing to renew the deal. According to report, there were no fights between the singer and the label; they just decided to move on.

However, our source says Chidinma does not intend to start up her own record label yet, but unconfirmed reports have it that the singer, who is also popular as Miss Kedike, has now moved to Flavour’s 2Nite Entertainment.

Aside a few musical collaboration between Chidinma and the founder of the later Label, Flavour N’abania, the two singers have also been rumored to being romantically involved with each other. They both shared an intimate kiss in a music video “Ololufe”, and has also kissed passionately on stage during a joint performance.

Last week, both parties dropped a hint of their new music partnership by posting a photo of them posing in matching traditional outfits on their respective Instagram accounts just after the news of Miss Kedike’s departure from Capital broke out.

Seems like Flavour is about to show the young Imo-born Diva a whole new world of music, or perhaps he has plans to make her baby mama number three. Only time will time the true intentions of Flavour N’abania and the fate of Chidinma leaving Capital Hills Records.
