While Corps Members in other states spent their weekend at Mami market in the usual way, Lagos state Corpers had an amazing night with Burna Boy, as he entertained them with thrilling performances at the Iyana-Ipaja orientation camp. Friday, May 6, 2016 was a night 2016 Batch A Lagos Corpers will never forget, having Original Nigerian Don Gorgon in their midst, who added life and colour to their camp concert.

The concert was organised by The Beat 99.9 FM and Naija FM 102.7, as an initiative to give back to the youths, who make the highest population of their listeners. Burna Boy is well-known for his energetic performances and was said to be on top of his game as he stepped on stage in Burna-style, making the audience love him more.
The 24-year old reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter performed his hit songs ‘Soke’ and ‘Like to Party,’ which made the Otondo’s go gaga. They cheered and screamed, singing along at the top of their voices and having the fun of their lives. Burna Boy also performed songs from his latest album including ‘Rizzla’ as well as his other hits such as ‘Won Da Mo’, ‘Gba Gbe’, ‘Yawa Dey’ and ‘Check & Balance’.
The Spaceship Entertainment artiste has been doing music professionally since 2010, after he met his Music producer, Leriq, who produced his first album. In 2014, the duo had some management issues which led to a slow ride of the singer’s career following their separation. However, in March 2016, Burna Boy Reunited With His Music Producer, and the two musical icons are now working together on his next album. Prior to their reunion, Burna Boy has been working tirelessly round the clock, releasing videos and gaining fans in different African cities.
