Two of President Muhammadu Buhari’s children; his daughter, Zahra and son, Yusuf; have successfully concluded their academic studies at the University of Surrey, Guildford, England, United Kingdom.
The institution specialises in science, engineering, medicine and business. It is a major centre for satellite and mobile communications research. The university is counted as one of the leading universities in the United Kingdom and has climbed rapidly in national league tables as of recent years.
Soon after the news about the graduation of President Buhari’s children was made public Nigerians took to social media to express their thoughts on the matter. While some rejoiced with the family and congratulated the duo, some others are raining fire and brimstone. Here are a few of the reactions:
“Now Yusuf can lend his illiterate, murderous, certificateless father his certificate after spending millions of Niger Delta oil money in UK education system while hungry demented zombies are hailing his illiterate father from Masood Abiola poly, Osun poly, KWASU, Ibadan poly and other rickety institutions they have in their neck of the woods. Yusuf Buhari for President of Yoruba Muslims and hausa Yoots come 2023!”
“Buhari the certificateless Monkey!!!!!! So this girl that had been gallivanting all over the place is in a school somewhere? I thought she was a ghost student.”
“But see o. Na for library dem graduate? No pictures of other scholars? Orisirisi…”
“I am sure many government and private firms are already sending them application letters to consider working for them, while those that graduated in 1999 are still jobless while their applications enrich the library of the woman selling akara. Nigeria we hail thee…”
“See them thief family using our money to school abroad. How come non of the children study in USA if Aisha hand is clean.”
“Nigerian moneys just they fly,why are dey studying abroad why can’t dey study in unilag, unn, e.t.c. Buhari be careful with country money, that is not ur family vacation money for u they weast money up an down,Buhari take ur time.”
