Project Fame West Africa, also known as MTN Project Fame (for sponsorship purposes), is a music talent TV reality show run by Ultima productions. It launched its inaugural season in 2008 and has been consistently coming up with the show every year since, making the 2015 edition the 8th season. Filmed in Lagos, Nigeria and aired in the West Africa, Project Fame features contestants from Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone and is broadcast by networks in these four countries and across the African continent.

The jury  in the reality show is formed by three judges; Ade Bantu, Bibie Brew and Tee-Y Mix, and Faculty members of the Academy which include: Ben Ogbeiwi, Ige, Joke Silva, and Kaffy.

The six finalist of the 2015 edition of the show were Ada, Anderson, Arewa, Deinde, Jeffery and Pearl, with Jeffery, who is a Sound Engineering graduate from the SAE Institute, Cape Town, emerging the eventual winner and carting away the grand prize of N5 million, an SUV and a recording contract. Hear him sing.

The first runner-up, Pearl Olanma Awa-Agwu received a car and N3 million, the second runner-up Anderson Emmanuel Amos got a car and N1 million, while the third runner-up, Adanoritsewo “Ada” Gold Tosanwumi collected N1 million.

Fans from all quarters applaud the judgement, most of them saying Jeffery deserved the win as he had consistently wowed judges and the audience by going all the way in each of his performances. But some believe it was not a fair result, with some of them naming the contestants they feel would have been their preferred winner.
