Ahmed Musa Has Been Married Three Times – Meet His Wives and Ex-wife

Ahmed Musa is a Nigerian professional footballer. He is one of the most Nigerian talented players who has scored many goals for his club and the national team. He started playing soccer since he was a child and got to the stage of playing for the top clubs in Europe. Currently, Musa plays as a forward and left winger for Turkish SüperLig club Fatih Karagümrük and the Nigerian national team. But beyond the popularity his profession has earned him, Ahmed is also famous for his polygamous lifestyle. At the young age of 28, the football has married three times. Although his first marriage has crashed, Musa is currently married to two wives.

Ahmed Musa Married His First Wife in 2013

Ahmed Musa’s first marriage was to a woman known as Jamila Musa. Jamila and Musa got married in 2013. She gave birth to Ahmed’s first son named Ahmed Musa Junior in 2014 and a daughter named Halima Musa in 2015. However, the marriage hit the rocks in 2017. There are no further details about what Jamila is currently up to

Different sources had reported different reasons why the marriage did not work out. While some said it was due to Ahmed having another woman in his life, others termed it irreconcilable differences. Meanwhile, Jamila had earlier accused Ahmed of domestic violence and made a report to the police. In response to the complaint, the police arrived at the player’s house in Countesthorpe, Leicestershire, on 4th April 2017 and arrested him.

This event happened around 1 am just after the Super Eagle player’s side recorded a 2-0 win over Sunderland. He was later released without charge after series of questioning. Afterward, the couple had a big quarrel and argument wherein Ahmed blamed Jamila for involving the police in their family matters and stating harassment accusations. Hence, they parted ways in that very week.

Juliet Ejue is His Second Wife

Following his ugly divorce from Jamila, Ahmed promptly married the woman (Juliet Ejue), who was the bone of contention for the crash of his first marriage. According to reports, Ahmed and Juliet had known each other long before he divorced his first wife. Hence, he carried on his marriage plans with Juliet, and today, he considers her to be his first wife.

Juliet is a native of Ogoja in Cross River but currently lives in Lagos. The couple had their introduction ceremony in March 2017, after which they officially tied the knot on 1st July 2017. The excitement apparent in their wedding photos explains that the union had been long anticipated. In an interview, he stated that he has no regret for his failed marriage, but only hopes that this second one will be long-lasting and happier. In his defense for his prompt marriage to Juliet, Ahmed said that nobody is perfect nor has the right to judge another, so all should mind their business.

The marriage has so far produced two children whose names and identities are unknown. Ahmed, in July 2018, took to his Instagram page to announce the arrival of his new baby from his wife, Juliet. He wrote I would like to announce to you all that moments ago Allah blessed me with a beautiful baby boy! Words cannot describe this feeling. The couple had been happy together as Musa doesn’t hesitate to share Juliet’s picture and shower her praises on his social media page. This was not until he had a different mind to take yet another wife.

His Third Wife, Mariam, is a Shuwa Woman

Nigerian Super Eagle player Ahmed Musa walked down the aisle for the third time with his new bride on Saturday, July 10, 2021. The woman, who is identified as Mariam Adamu Jajere from Yobe state, was married in a quiet wedding ceremony to the extent that his colleagues and fans did not know about the wedding until their photos were shared over the internet. Even though the player took his fans by surprise by taking a third wife, they only hope that this one too will not hit the rocky part as this is his third marriage in just nine years.

The Football Star Lives Peacefully With His Two Wives and Children

Having acquired wealth and fame in his career, Ahmed Musa would not hold a thing back in ensuring that his two wives and children are living in peace and well taken care of. Also, knowing that Muslim men have the religious right to marry more than one wife, Ahmed’s getting another wife seems not to border his previous wife, Juliet.
