58th Grammy Awards 2016: Full List Of Winners

This year’s Grammy was the 58th version of the prestigious award which began in 1959. The first Grammy Awards ceremony was held at Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles May 4, 1959.

The Grammy Awards (originally called Gramophone Award), or Grammy, is an accolade by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS) of the United States to recognize outstanding achievement in the mainly English-language music industry.

The 2016 edition of the Grammy Awards was held Monday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift were among the biggest winners of the night.  Other outstanding winners of the night were Alabama Shakes and Chris Stapleton.
