State House correspondent reported the meeting lasted for – about half an hour, before the Professor emerged from the office.
But Prof. Soyinka decline to disclose what was discussed between him and President to media correspondents who already laid siege for him in front of the press gallery, in hope of getting some information.
Attempting to break through the barricade set up by journalist, the 82-year old said his purpose was to discuss national and international matters, general matters, and nothing more.
However, Soyinka invited them to a press conference which he said would be held in the upcoming week and there, they (journalists) can ask him any question.
