Toyin Aimakhu: I Will Either Remain Single Or Marry A White Man


Multi talented Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu has ruled out marriage for now, says she doesn’t think she can go through the stress of marriage at the moment but when eventually she is ready, she would go for a white man. Toyin disclosed this in a recent unscripted video of herself on her official channel, KUWTATV.

The 31-year old actress who is currently in Maryland, United States filming her reality series was quoted as saying:

“Married women are trying, may God give me the strength to marry again. I don’t think I can go through it anymore. I will remain single or marry a white man.”

The reason for her decision she ties to the insatiable nature of Nigerian men. The actress, who is a graduated from Olabisi Onabanjo University began her acting career  2003. She got married to her best friend and colleague in the industry, Adeniyi Johnson, in 2013 but the married clashed. Speaking on her failed marriage, Toyin said; “I got married to a Yoruba guy but I packed my load away because he loves girls too much. I still love him but can’t marry him again. Never.”

In late 2015, Toyin began a relationship with Seun Egbegbe, who is also a filmmaker, when her marriage to Adeyini began to go sour, even when  criticized for openly dating when she was still legally married to husband.

Their relationship also started go south few months back when news started circulating that she was  kidnapped and assaulted by Seun. In an interview with Encomium Weekly, Seun denied the kidnapping allegations levied against him, saying;

“Why would they say I kidnapped my girlfriend? Would I have kidnapped her and kept her underground? So those behind the story and those still peddling it as rumour, God knows what they really want to gain from that. But, left to me, I didn’t kidnap Toyin Aimakhu and I will never do that.”
