English Premiership side, Sunderland have confirmed they have signed former Everton and West Brom striker Victor Anichebe.
The Nigerian forward signed for Sunderland on a loan deal that will last until the end of the season.
Sunderland confirmed Anichebe’s signing o their website as well as on their official Twitter handle.

Meanwhile, an excited Anichebe also took to his Twitter page to announce his recent signing.

Anichebe posted on his verified twitter handle @VictorAnichebe saying:
“Delighted to have signed for @SunderlandAFC looking forward to working with the manager at this great club #SAFC”
The 28-year-old Nigerian international joins the Black Cats on a deal until the end of the season.
He becomes manager David Moyes’ ninth signing of the summer.
The experienced forward is no stranger to the Premier League having made over 130 appearances in his time under Moyes at Everton and a further 55 appearances with West Bromwich Albion between 2013 and 2016.
Speaking about signing for Sunderland AFC, Anichebe said:
“I’m really happy to be here at a great club.
“I have a lot of good friends here and everyone knows that I know the manager really well.
“He brought me through as a young player and was a big factor in me coming here.
“I had a few options in England and Europe but the manager was a huge pull for me.
“He knows me inside out and I feel like he can get the best out of me.”
28-year-old Victor Chinedu Anichebe is a Nigerian professional footballer who last played for West Bromwich Albion.
He has been described as a fast and powerful player, in the mould of a “traditional” centre-forward.
Although he is equally adept at playing as a Right Winger where he has been deployed on many occasions throughout his career.
