After weeks of sampling different opinions on the issue, Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus has dissected and aired her take on the most popular sermon of 2016 – Pastor Adeboye’s Controversial Statement.
Again, another popular personality has agreed to some of the points raised by the RCCG pastor, just like Charly Boy and a few others did.
According to Stella, if a woman can spend hours watching makeup tutorials, doing Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat, but cannot pray for her family, such a woman is dangerous.
In a video posted on YouTube, Stella Damasus strictly passes her point, also admitting that she is aware not everyone will like her by the time she is done airing her opinion on the subject.
“If a woman who is married is not able to spend at least one hour to fight for what she holds dear which is her marriage, then what is the point marrying her?” She said.
“If we can spend hours on our cell phones doing social media, we can spend hours gisting with friends, spend a longtime doing fashion and watching makeup tutorials and we cannot spend one hour to pray for our family, that is a dangerous woman to marry.”
Stella pointed out that Pastor Adeboye was talking in a Christian gathering and not to the entire world, therefore, anyone who was in that church at the point of the sermon was willing and ready to hear the gospel truth, which is not for everybody.
On the issue of a wife knowing how to cook, she said, “As a female, it would help you to know how to cook. Make an effort even if it is once in a while, you have a responsibility to make sure that your man is taken care of because your expectation of him is that he provides for you.”
Meanwhile, the mother of two daughters, who was once rumored to have snatched her current husband, Daniel Ademinokan, from another actress, Doris Simeon, seemed to be on the low with her movie career. However, she recently released a musical album titled ‘Alternative’ which is doing pretty well in the music scene.
