Father Mbaka Gets Congratulatory Message From Buhari


Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Rev. Fr Mbaka, has received a congratulatory message from President Muhammadu Buhari  on the 21st anniversary of his ordination to priesthood in the Catholic Church.

The occasion to mark Father Mbaka’s ordination 21st-anniversary celebration is slated for Friday.

This is was disclosed in a statement issued by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina and made available to newsmen on Thursday in Abuja.

The statement said President Buhari felicitated with the Mbaka’s family, congregation and well-wishers on the occasion.

President Buhari’s message read:

“…As they celebrate this special occasion with him in his continued devotion to the well-being of others as a father, wise counselor, teacher and guardian.’’

The President also commended Father Mbaka’s steadfast devotion to his vocation and ministry amply demonstrated in his love and service for his people, nation and God.

He prayed that God Almighty, who had given the cleric the strength to devote his entire life to service in the Vineyard. , would continually bless and prosper his ministry.

He also prayed that God would continually bless and prosper the ministry of Father Mbaka.

Rev Fr Mbaka who has been in the forefront of criticism for his support for President Buhari will be celebrating 21 years of priestly ordination on Friday.

The renown Enugu-based clergyman was noted to have prophesied that President Buhari would win the 2015 general elections. Much to the dismay and his critics.

Mbaka had been accused of obtaining gifts from President Buhari, as well as allegedly demanding for oil wells from former president Goodluck Jonathan.

A request which was allegedly declined by Goodluck, which some say was largely responsible for the unfavorable stance Mbaka took against him.

Rev Fr Mbaka had however, debunked such allegations and speculations as baseless and untrue.
