Veteran actor and actress, Olu Jacobs and Joke Silva have brought back the vibes of theater plays as they present   Heartbeat The Musical.

The stage play features the couple and a host of young and talented Nigerian thespians, like Akah Bants of Accelerate TV, Bassey Ekpenyong of Ebony Life TV, Immaculate Edache of MTN Project Fame, etc.

Under Lufodo productions, the theatrical masterpiece is written by Tosin Otudeko and Debo Oluwatuminu. Original song compositions were done by Tosin Otudeko while the play was produced by Efosa Lawal and directed by Najite Dede.

The show Kicked off on 10th November, it has had four performances already [10th, 11th,12th, 13th] and will run for 19 days, elapsing on 18th December. The show of 28 performances is an all round energetic performance by the cast leaving the guests amazed from start to finish with a thundering applause and a standing ovation at the end.

Heartbeat The Musical is set around Grace House, a well-known shelter for the homeless. Grace House finds itself in the middle of a battle between warring forces within their local government area while preparing for their 25th year anniversary.

Caught between personal and political conflicts, the residents (each with their own share of secrets, fears and flaws) must come together to save the only place they can truly call their own.

Heartbeat The Musical is a tale of hope as it explores the themes of Love, hate, betrayal, family, identity, politics, homelessness and social justice through the characters that converge in and around Grace House in search of refuge and atonement.

The stage play is open to the public. Here’s the performance schedule;

Date: November 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 24th, 25th and 26. December 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 15th, 16th, 17th and 18, 2016.

Time: Weekdays: 7pm and Weekends: 3pm and 7pm.

Venue: Agip Recital hall, Muson Centre, 8/9 Marina Onikan Lagos.

Tickets: Regular N5,000 and VIP N10,000
