YBNL boss, Olamide has unveiled the cover art for his forthcoming album, which he titled ‘The Glory.’ This would be his 6th studio album, making it a tradition for him to release an album at the close of every year.
The rapper made the announcement on his Instagram page, assuring that ‘The Glory’ will be released on December 26, 2016, on the same day the third edition of his live concert, “Olamide Live In Concert” [OLIC] will hold.
Olamide recently announced the return of the third installment of his “Olamide Live In Concert” tagged ‘OLIC 3 Beast mode III.’
The rapper, who has gained mostly praises for his Yoruba-influenced music, bragged about shutting down Lagos with his performance during the event, as he is fully prepped to make the 2016 edition more grand than that of last year.
Tagged ‘OLIC 3: Beast Mode III’, the concert will witness a one-of-a-kind performance as the rapper is set to take fans down memory; performing songs from the early stage of his career till date.
“I’m fully charged for the concert this year, my battery is fully charged!” Olamide said, revealing his plans for ‘OLIC’ 2016.
OLIC is a collaborative concert organized by Right Entertainment, Achievas Entertainment, and YBNL. The event will feature other top musicians in the Nigerian music industry and it’s surely a night not to miss.
In the meantime, fans of the rapper are highly anticipating the release of ‘The Glory” come December. Olamide rose to fame in 2011 with his first hit song, Eni Duro.
So far he has released five studio albums: Rapsodi was released in 2011, YBNL in 2012, Baddest Guy Ever Liveth came on board in 2013, Street OT in 2014, and Eyan Mayweather in 2015.
