One of the singing duo of Psquare, Paul Okoye, may be in for a serious tongue-lashing from Nigerians, as he has definitely bitten more than he can possibly chew this time.
The singer got on the wrong side of the Nigerian public when he took to his Instagram page to describe the fuel scarcity incident in the country, but showed too much of himself as he implied that he and other celebrities should not be boarding tricycles and motorbikes, popularly referred to as ‘keke’ and ‘okada’ respectively, as they are not meant for their class of persons.
Nigerians surely know how to react to this kind of statements. See Paul Okoye’s Instagram post and also read the reaction of angry Nigerians.
“Nawaoo!!!! Give us light, you people refuse, we bought generators, to help ourselves, una collect fuel and diesel, roads are empty no cars, my fellow celebs wahala dey!! Soon we shall all drop our pride and our shoulders to hump on keke and Okada …seriously this fuel scarcity no get respect …Eh no send whether u be celeb…infact this fuel ain’t loyal atall atall.”
