Top Nigerian Igbo highlife/hip hop superstar, Flavour Nabania, has joined the leagues of other celebrity brand ambassadors, as he bags new endorsement deal with Nigerian Breweries Plc, Nigeria’s largest brewing company. The worth of this endorsement has not yet been confirmed, however, it is said to run into several millions and would last for a period of two years.
Nigerian Breweries Plc was incorporated in 1946 and are the producers of the following alcohol and beverage brands: Star, Heineken, Maltina, Guilder and others. They started off in Nigeria with their first ever bottle of beer – STAR Lager, in June 1949 and that brand is one of their most outstanding.
Mr Nabania, who is signed to 2nite Entertainment, has been featuring in several Nigerian Breweries sponsored shows like Star Trek and Star Mega Jam, over the years, and this deal would only seal the relationship he has built with the brand. The songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and performer is known to be loved by a majority of Nigerians, especially people from the eastern part where he comes from.
In 2005, Flavour debuted into the Nigerian music scene with his first album titled “Nabania.” In 2010, he released a second studio album titled “Uplifted.” However, he has several hit singles to his name which includes “Nwa Baby,” “Adamma,” “Orobo,” “Ada Ada” among others. His songs are as uplifting as he calls them and he is among one of the most sought after artistes in Africa.

The beautiful thing about being a brand ambassador for a reputable brand is that it makes the artists more visible as the brand tends to push their ambassador alongside the brand.
