Linda Ikeji’s Younger sister, Laura Ikeji, got engaged to her man Ogbonna Nwankwo yesterday, December 16th.
Recall that Linda turned 36 on Sept 19, 2016 and despite her great success, she revealed that the one thing she is yet to achieve is having a man and starting a family. Her words;
“My prayer as I turn 36 today, is to find an amazing guy soon, settle down, have a bunch of kids and continue to live, impact my world and make a difference. Please say a prayer for me! I mean it!”
Now, reacting to the news of her younger sister’s engagement, Linda could not hold back her frustration about being single. She took to her blog to write:
“So my amazing little sister Laura Ikeji got engaged tonight. Her man of about a year, former footballer and younger brother to football legend Kanu Nwankwo, Ogbonna Kanu, asked her to marry him and she said yes! So so happy for them. Big congrats to Laura & Ogbonna.
Meanwhile, to my matter, dear future husband, biko show up nah! Me sef want to wear wedding dress..lol. I tap into Laura’s blessings! 2017 loading. *wink*”.

Laura Ikeji has been in a sizzling relationship with Kanu Nwankwo’s younger brother, 36 year old Christopher Ogbonnaya Nwankwo.
According to reports, Laura and Ogbonna started dating less than a year ago after they met through a mutual friend. Ogbonna, a retired Nigerian football defender and Laura even spent their last Valentine together in Texas, United States of America.
Not too long ago, they returned to the country from a vacation in Ghana where the couple privately celebrated Laura’s birthday. Laura turned a year older March 15th, 2016.
Ogbonna is a father of two children which he had with a British woman.
In 2013, there were reports that the handsome ex footballer lost some of his assets to the lady after she took Ogbonna to court over an alleged infidelity claim.
He was also allegedly involved in a very serious relationship with a top Nollywood actress (name withheld), with many believing that it was headed for the altar until it packed up in 2009.
