An undergraduate student of Federal University of Technology Akure, FUTA, with the Facebook name, Tobi Medal, has caused traffic on social media as a result of an ungodly advise he dished out to guys encouraging them to rape girls who play ‘hard to get’. According to screenshots being shared online, Tobi Medal openly boasted about his rape exploits in a Facebook group.

He wrote:

Tips for the day: If there’s a girl you’ve always wanted to fuck but have been resisting, just trick her into ur room, shut the doors and RAPE her! Believe me, she can never tell the police or any law enforcing agency cos she’ll be ashamed of herself when she’s asked about how she got into your room so she’s keep it to herself and only nurse hatred and bitterness towards you but who that one epp? You don fuck, you don fuck ntie! Just a tip, it has worked for me twice now!!!

When challenged, Tobi said he is very serious about his advice adding that it has worked for him on more than one occasion.

His post sparked an outrage from members of the group, forcing Tobi to deactivate his account, but before he did that he made an effort to clear his name claiming that his account was hacked. “Notice to everyone: My account has been hacked and used to propagate scandal about me. I am a God fearing man and would never implicate myself as such”, he wrote.

According to the Nigerian constitution, rape may be defined as a sexual intercourse between a man and a woman or a girl against the will or consent of the female partner. It is a crime in Nigeria just like in many other countries and it punishable by life imprisonment (maximum but it may be less).

I sincerely hope it’s true that the Facebook account of Tobi Medal was actually hacked if not, he might be in for very rough times.
