Deputy Governors of Abia, Ebonyi, Kano, Sokoto and Taraba states have slammed Prophet Elijah Ayodele for prophesying that they will run into trouble with their principals before the end of their tenures.
Primate Elijah Ayodele, is the Spiritual Head of the INRI Evangelistic Spiritual Church Oke Afa, Isolo, Lagos, and is prominent among members of the Lord’s Vineyard.
Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Dr. Kelechi Igwe, reacting to the prophecy on behalf of himself and the other deputy governors mentioned stated that the prophecy was fallacious and one intended to create rancour and disaffection in the polity.
Dr. Igwe said the so-called prophecy should be ignored but doing so could create the impression that they believe him or that he should be taken seriously.
He declared that the prophesy was nothing but a figment of Ayodele’s imagination and urged the public to ignore the prophet “for he knows what he is doing.”
In his words; “We vehemently reject this so-called prophecy, which, in our own estimation, is nothing but a figment of the imagination of the man who released it.
We all have had and still have very good working relationship with our bosses in our various states and do not see any reason for the predicted crisis.
We urge the government and the good people in our various states to ignore Primate Elijah Ayodele for he knows not what he is saying or doing.
Primate Ayodele could not have heard from God because he has been in the business of releasing false prophecies at every turn in the politics of Nigeria and the world.
Dr. Igwe recalled that it was the same prophet who last year, predicted that President Goodluck Jonathan would win the 2015 presidential election, that Governor Ahmed el- Rufai would not win the governorship election in Kaduna and who recently predicted victory for Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party candidate in the just-concluded elections in the United States.
A few weeks ago, Prophet Ayodele had asked Nigerians to expect a shocker in the forthcoming governorship election in Ondo state.
The prophet predicted that the outcome of the forthcoming governorship election would demonstrate the resolute will of the people to ensure that their choice would prevail in the poll.
The Primate also said that the relationship between President Muhammadu Buhari and the Senate would become more bitter.
