As the January transfer window draws closer to its end, top Premier League sides are making last minute moves and additions to their teams.
Chelsea who sit quite comfy at the top of the table have indicated plans to sell off striker Diego Costa this month.
However, coach Conte’s side is asking for a whopping £130million for the Spaniard.
League table #3, Liverpool on their part have joined the race for Inter Milan midfielder Ivan Perisic.
According to Italian media outfit, Gazzetta dello Sport, the Croatian is on the Liverpool’s radar.
Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea are also interested in the Croatian.
Perisic has caught the eye with a string of striking performances for the San Siro side.
The 27-year-old £30million-rated playmaker has scored 7 goals, starting 15 times in the Serie A this season with 4 substitute appearances.
Reports also have it that Chelsea have joined the race to sign Manchester United target Nelson Semedo.
The Benfica right-back has been continually linked with a switch to Old Trafford as Jose Mourinho plots to strengthen his defense.
Chelsea would slam an undisclosed world-record fee for the 14-goal hitman.
The sell-off fee would dwarf the current £89million benchmark set by Paul Pogba on signing for United.
