Managing Director, MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe, explaining the strategy driving the DStv Premium Open Week, said MultiChoice’s key priority is to put its subscribers’ needs at the heart of everything they do.

The MutiChoice boss mentions also that subscribers on lower bouquets would enjoy the opportunity to watch some of the content available on the higher bouquets. They will have access to 36 channels that are typically only available on the Premium bouquet and will also be able to catch some of Nigeria’s best home-grown talent on Africa Magic Showcase’ new shows; Hush and The Voice Nigeria which kicked off on Sunday, 10 April on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv channel 151).

Within this specified offer period, football fan subscribers will be able to catch up on the European football leagues, the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League season highlights alongside live EPL matches including Chelsea vs. Manchester City on SuperSport 3 (DStv channel 223) on Saturday 16 April 2016.

According to Ugbe, these initiatives are some of the innovative ways MultiChoice adds more value to subscribers’ video entertainment experience, irrespective of their subscription plans, adding that DStv subscribers get bouquet flexibility in price and choice without compromising quality or variety.

Only recently, DStv initiated an offer for its Compact subscribers where the EPL, La Liga and Euro 2016 were made available at no extra cost and no price increases were implemented on DStv bouquets in Nigeria on 01 April.

Multichoice also launched the ‘Game of Exploras’ offer, where 1000 Explora decoders will be given away at the rate of two decoders every hour for 21 days.
