The 36-year-old lady, Doris Osato, who died one week after she was delivered of a set of triplets on the 19th of December, 2016, was laid to rest today in her hometown, Urohi village in Ekpoma, Edo State.
Recall that the news of Doris Osato’s death was reported a few days ago after a Facebook user, Isibor shared the sad information, soliciting for financial assistance for the family in order to be able to care for the newborn babies.
Below is what he wrote…
“We must appreciate the women who put their lives on the line just to bear us children. Mothers must be celebrated as long as they live.
“A friend of Kola Edokpayi lost his dear wife after she was born of these angels. While we pray that God comforts and the family left behind. He needs some support to help cater for the needs of these little ones.
“Amafe Jessica and Kola Edokpayi can be reached if you want to offer some help.”
May her soul rest in perfect peace.
In a similar case, after waiting for three years for the fruit of the womb, Titilayo Balogun died after giving birth to a set of triplet last year, 2016.
Titilayo died at the Ifako Ijaye General Hospital after a Caeserian section CS was conducted on her on February 10, 2016 to help deliver her babies. She’d been a barren mother for 3 years and Mr. Balogun, her husband was waiting eagerly to cuddle his beloved wife and kids when death turned his anticipation down, denying his wife the joy of motherhood.
The young man who is now saddled with raising his three children without a mother, has therefore, appealed to the State government to come to his aid so that he can comfortably take care of the babies.
It’s a pity the mother of these lovely children can only smile on God’s blessings to her from her grave. Sympathizers were said to have flooded the house of the decease’s husband, mourning and celebrating with him.
