Ace music producer and CEO of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy, is known for his baritone voice and excellent music productions. A video clip of him from twenty-five years ago showed that Don Jazzy has been in the music scene for over two decades now.
He shared the video of himself when he was nine years old, performing Rosie by Nigerian legend singer, Blackky, in a children party. The video is a memorable one, as one would see children dancing to their colleague’s rhythm as he sings with the live band.
Surprisingly, the former CEO of Mo’ Hits Records had a very light voice as a child, and he even wonders how that squeaky voice grew over the years to the charming baritone he is known for today. According to the Abia state indigene, he owes his success as a musician to his father, Mr. Collins Enebeli, who exposed him (Don) to music at an early age.
Born as Michael Collins Ajereh, Don Jazzy did his first full music production in 2004 when he produced Tongolo for Nigerian singer, and former artiste of the defunct Mo’ Hits Records, D’banj. Since then, Don has produced several hits, as any beat he cooks turns out to be a national anthem. Don Jazzy is indeed a musical legend and this performance he pulled off in the 90’s is just a proof that music runs in his genes.

This is what Don Jazzy has to say about the video:
“Thought I should share with you guys the very beginning of my incredible journey. The love I have for what I do has not changed from as early as 9. You have no idea how much I appreciate my dad for the guidance all through the years. And with joy I have progressed from being this young boy to being #Donjazzy. I wish you the same and even more.”
