Dokpesi Calls For Prison Reforms After His Stay In Kuje Prison

Even though he had been granted bail in the sum of N200 million and two sureties in like sum (400m) by a Federal High Court, Chairman of Daar Communications, Raymond Dokpesi did spend three nights at kuje prison and it was obvious that his stay was not pleasant at all because he is barely home and he is already calling for national prison reforms.

The presiding judge, Justice Gabriel Kolawole ruled on his bail application but he was however remanded at the Kuje prison pending the fulfillment of his bail conditions.

Upon leaving Kuje jail where he was remanded for not fulfilling bail conditions, Dokpesi attended the AIT Christmas party where he tasked the management of his TV station to make Prison reforms a burning issue. He described the situation of things in the prison as shockingly bad, horrifying and terrible.

Following his reaction, most Nigerians feel more politicians should be sent to prison  so that next time when they are given money to do things in the society, they would not succumb to the temptation to siphon funds.

Well here are photos from the AIT Christmas party.
