An insider said that the soon-to-be-released work is the couple’s way of addressing rumors concerning their marriage, as they would rather sing it than grant an interview.
“Jay and Beyoncé were never going to do an interview to address all the questions that came up after LEMONADE. It’s more their style to respond through music.”
Although “Sasha Fierce” or “the god of rap” are yet to confirm this development, talks surrounding this effort have been around since 2014, when DJ Skee said that it was on the way.
In February this year, producer Detail, who worked with Jay and Bey on ‘Drunk in Love’ also revealed that the project was being crafted.
“I’m working with a couple of new projects that I don’t want to unveil, and then me and Beyoncé and Jay Z are actually doing something together this year. When you think of Jay and Bey together, you think ‘album’. You should already know.”
The celebrity couple have previously collaborated on some hit tracks, including ‘Bonnie & Clyde,’ ‘Crazy in Love,’ ‘Upgrade U among others.
Their chemistry on stage is none to contest and whenever it is rumored that they were having serious home troubles, the duo surprises the world by bringing it on and killing every new recording and performance.
