Pop star Beyonce Interviews Sister, Solange Knowles For Interview Magazine

Popular American singer and onetime member of the Destiny’s Child music group, Beyonce has conducted an interview f0r Interview Magazine.

In the latest issue of the magazine, cover star Solange Knowles gets interviewed by her very own sister, Beyonce.

Solange delved into a detailed, insightful conversation with her older sister, Beyonce.

The sisters bond over noticing the similarities in their father, Mathew Knowles, and rap mogul Master P, both of whom appear on A Seat.

Beyonce, during a trip from Philadelphia to New York in December, came on the phone with Solange to discuss growing up in the Knowles household.

Both Solange and Beyonce had singing talents and their home served as a breeding ground for both solo stars.

Their home also served as well as the nurturing place for multi-platinum girl group Destiny’s Child.

Solange and bey discussed in the interview, the inspiration behind her Billboard 200 chart-topping album, A Seat at The Table.



Solange also shared the meaning behind her album’s standout single “Cranes in the Sky.”

The single, “Cranes” written eight years ago in Miami marked a transitional period in Solange’s life.

She was at the time ending the relationship with her son Julez’ father.

She recalled saying:

“There was a new condo going up every ten feet.

“You recorded a lot there as well, and I think we experienced Miami as a place of refuge and peace.

“We weren’t out there wilin’ out and partying.”

Solange was born and raised in Houston and fell in with the family business managed by her father.

She often filled in with Beyonce’s girl group, Destiny’s Child.
