Apostle Johnson Suleiman of Omega Fire Ministry based in Auchi, Edo state, who is currently embroiled in an adultery has finally spoken up on the sexual allegation brought against him by a Canadian-based Nigerian lady, Stephanie Otobo.
Speaking during the on-going ministers’ conference at Auchi in Edo state this afternoon, the fiery preacher said God told him that in less than 24 hours, marine spirit and their agents will be exposed and the truth about the allegation be made known.
“In less than 24 hours, the marine will be disgraced publicly. In 24 hours, the truth will be exposed. They will be disappointed along with their representatives. And they will know that I Am That I Am has sent me. We don’t fight with our mouth but on our knees. You can’t do certain things and still carry the anointing we carry. Put your ears down. If I’m true or not true, if I’m real or not real, 24 hours. I am a tough person, You can’t bring me down. They should get a better agent who is more presentable that people would easily believe….”
An allegation cropped up some days ago that Apostle Johnson Suleiman was involved in an amorous relationship with a lady but things went sour and he dumped her while she was pregnant. It was also claimed that he promised to marry her but is presently using the police to silence her.
According to Sahara Reporters, the alleged lover, Miss Stephanie Otobo, is a musician based in Ontario, Canada, who goes by the stage name of Kimora.
In a letter to the Inspector-General of Police, Miss Otobo’s attorneys, Festus Keyamo Chambers, stated that she was arrested on March 3 at a United Bank of Africa branch by heavily armed policemen from Federal Criminal Investigations Department (FCID), Alagbon, at the Anthony Village area of Lagos. She has since been in detention, where she has been denied food and visitation by her lawyers.
Stephanie’s attorneys alleged that Apostle Suleiman and Miss Otobo, met in September 2016, when she visited Nigeria from Canada. They began a relationship, with Apostle Suleiman telling her that he had divorced his wife and wanted more male children. The affair grew stronger and Apostle Suleiman made a marriage proposal to Miss Otobo, which she accepted. This was followed by a formal introduction of Apostle Suleiman to her family. On the occasion, the preacher took along drinks and gifts and informed Miss Otobo’s family in Delta state of his desire to marry their daughter.
However, contrary the allegations by Miss Stephanie Otobo, her father, Rev. Benson Otobo, refuted the claim, saying nothing of such ever happened.
Otobo told journalists in Abuja that Apostle Suleiman had neither been to his compound nor known his residence, wondering why his daughter was attempting to drag the name of the revered man of God in the mud.
Asked whether Apostle Suleiman had ever been to his house for any marriage introduction with his daughter, Rev. Otobo responded:
“Not at all. Apostle Suleiman does not even know where I live.”
He, however, informed newsmen that he had since called Apostle Suleiman to distance himself from his daughter’s misconduct. Rev. Otobo, who disclosed that his daughter was equally at loggerheads with him at the moment for scolding her two months ago over nude pictures he saw of her.
The Omega Fire Ministries also denied that the General Overseer of the church, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, had a hand in the arrest and detention of Miss Stephanie Otobo by the police.
Apostle Suleiman in a statement signed, by his Communications Manager, Phrank Shaibu, in Abuja, also denied that there was a so-called “amorous relationship” between the said Miss Otobo and the General Overseer, including a promise to marry her.
