Popular Rapper Arrested On Stage For This Reason

It doesnt matter if Donald Trump uses it, foul language is bad. American rapper and multi millionaire, Curtis James Jackson, well known as 50 Cent, was recently taken into custody by the Caribbean police for using swear words on stage.

Just like most hard core rappers, 50 Cent has been accustomed to cursing in his music and fails to censor such lines.

The G-Unit head honcho was a headliner at Saturday night’s 2016 St. Kitts Music Festival in the West Indies. The rapper performed his hit song, P.I.M.P from his debut album, Get Rich Or Die Trying, and trilled the audience. However, his language was seen as offensive.

The West Indies Island has laws that ban swearing on stage, and 50 Cent was caught in the act as he rapped, ‘No Cadillac, no perms, you can’t see that I’m a motherfucking P-I-M-P’.

According to reports, the blame was partially placed on 50 Cent’s DJ for not having a clean version of the song. The rapper shares in the blame as well, for not censoring the lyrics manually.

50 Cent and his bodyguard, Bajar Walter were subsequently charged with obstruction and making use of indecent language, after police showed up to make the arrest.

He was further detained in the Carribean until Monday when a court date for his hearing will be announced. Since his crime was a misdemeanor, he will most likely get billed to pay a fine rather than serve jail term.

50 Cent was born in the South Jamaica neighborhood of the borough of Queens where he began selling drugs at age 12. He was discovered by Eminem after the release of his compilation album Guess Who’s Back? in 2002.

50 Cent is regarded as the second richest rapper in the hip hop industry after Jay Z. Currently, he lives in a Farmington, Connecticut mansion formerly owned by ex-boxer Mike Tyson.

He was ranked fifth-richest figure in American hip hop in 2015, with an estimated net worth of $155 million, therefore, he will not have difficulties paying any fine as long as it grants him back his freedom.
